In general, 69 percent of the study did not find a clear relationship between levels of stress and weight gain, while 25 percent found no relationship between levels of stress and weight gain.
The remaining 6 percent found severe stress associated with less weight gain over time. When the results are collected, there is little correlation between high levels of stress and weight gain and is more inclined towards men than women.

Steptoe warned that the impact of stress on body weight may be only a small on average, but will certainly be very different for every individual. This type of stress, whether related to work, a particular problem in life, can also affect weight gain. However, this measure was not yet known.
In essence, based on recent scientific studies, stress does not have a very big role in adding weight. However, everyone has different body resistance. It could be the result of every person is different and there are no data to support this.
