Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung - Some 27 of the 30 AIDS patients in Bangka Belitung (Babel) died last year because of delayed treatment at the special HIV/AIDS clinics while three others had to take drugs for the rest of their life.
"When the patents arrived at the clinics their condition is already fatal and the medical team could not do much to save them," Pari Pusta, manager of Program Komisi Penanggulangan AIDS eradication commission program (KPA) said here on Tuesday.
